George A. White, DVM, DACVECC

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1974, Dr. White served in the Air Force as a staff veterinarian, before opening his own primary care practice in 1977. While running his primary care practice, Dr. White served as a US Army Reserve Veterinarian attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel. After achieving Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and Surgery and Critical Care in 1994 Dr. White sold his practice and has been practicing emergency and critical care since. He has also had advanced training in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery.  He has been involved training residents in various multi-specialty referral practices,  is published in multiple emergency and critical care journals and has lectured nationally and internationally. He currently resides in Heron, Montana, and enjoys playing banjo and fiddle in his spare time.

 

Sonni Gilbert, DVM

Dr. Sonni Gilbert was raised on a cattle ranch in

Wyoming.  After getting her Bachelor of Animal Science degree from the University of Wyoming she attended Washington State University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004.  Since graduating she has practiced equine medicine and mixed animal medicine in the Spokane and Couer d' Alene areas. We are very fortunate that she has joined the staff of Heron Veterinary Services.
